mad Monday

Hello

Was up this morning very early I am not an early bird more a night owl must be them pills the doctors gave me giving me energy haha
Decided I would carry on with the D.I.Y project painting hummmm now I am looking at my work and thinking not that good but looks better than it did just making it look cleaner till I get round to doing the whole thing my main task will be the kitchen
One of my daughters works in B & Q we had a little visit on Saturday not a good idea came back with all these samples for the living room yes living room not doing that room well maybe some nice paper cant help my self
this picture is me with the samples after I lay down on the floor after painting banister and a door
I like the poppy one and I quite like the darker one  you can see my feet sticking out funny

This is me not looking my best so funny my hair tied back and not that you can see but an old pair of pants of my husbands and one of his old t shirts to do the painting in and they are far too big  not a good look :) very comfy could of gone to sleep on the floor that's what you get for getting up early glad it wasn't window cleaning day he would have thought I had gone nuts !!

After my mad moment I did manage some crafty things and even managed a few more pictures of my new collection just put a couple of pictures on my face book page www.facebook.com/juliebeadydesigns  and had a sale on my website whoop :)

Hope to start a new collection tomorrow if my goodies come this ones more up my street a bit of fun

Hello Well I had a walk the other day ! I am only a small distance away from where I lived as a girl and my hubby lived just in the next street when we was courting but that’s another story. I had to go to the post office with a parcel bit of a walk not sure they like their jobs as they never look happy, I always thought you greeted customers with a smile well that’s how it was when I worked in a shop but that’s another story. Walking back my leg was aching but had to go to doctors not for my leg they said that it could be osteoporosis just gave me pain killers to go with the high blood presser not good but that’s another story. I decided to walk by where I lived as a girl I remember playing handstands on the wall the houses where quite new when we moved in, my friend Jackie broke her collar bone doing a handstand but that’s another story. Our case went missing at the airport

 Yes our case went missing well my husbands case.  Just glad it wasn’t mine! We went to Tenerife for a 9 day holiday.  I am not good on flying get travel sick but I was fine.Then on the Monday I got a tummy bug so went off my food a bit still didn’t feel right on the Thursday when we was coming home.  I took some dolls with me took some fantastic pictures beautiful place. So you can see why I’m glad it wasnt my case. But no body wants to lose a case!  But the funny thing is The flight seemed long and the plain was packed, only one other guy got on the coach to the airport and mick noticed his case was very much like his. We was very releaved to touch down at Manchester.  This is where it went strange there was a very long que at passport control and took forever we had rushed to get there quick. They now have them silly machines to read your passport and they wasn’t working very well so took longer.  Then we went straight to pick the cases up! Where was everyone they all seemed to have

Hello  History of the sock monkey . The sock monkey originated from the Victorian era  Stuffed Animals crafted for children and monkeys became popular and still are . John Nelson a Swedish immigrant to the United States patterned the sock knitting machine in 1868 And began knitting socks . He created Rockford seamless socks hosiery selling under the name of nelsons socks . Later in 1932 the red heeled sock was made known today as the Rockford red heeled sock .The first monkeys was made from worn ones . Then developed in 1953 different designs but Rockford Illinois became the home of the sock monkey and borght the patent rights . The oldest Rockford monkeys that are found now date back to the 1950s to 1970s Fox river mills inc acquired nelson knitting company in 1992 . Homemade red heeled sock monkey dolls have unique faces depending on the person who made them like my monkeys .The manufactured ones have the same face design .
