Date with the ironing board

Yes a date with the ironing board 😩

My ironing seems to pile up and I tend to iron when needed . I am not a big fan of ironing and avoid doing it my hubby even irons his own work things lucky me !! 
I am determined I'm going to get on top of it and have spent a good part of my day trying to catch up with my friend the ironing board . I don't know if you read my blog about me clearing out my wardrobe did quite a bit of ironing then but it's piled up again even though I got rid of a lot of clothes .
I had all my summer things to sort out ! Can't really say we have had much of a summer so far nearly put the heating on a few times .
You know when you tidy you find lots of things you forgot you had well iI have found lots of tops you know the ones that when you wash crease like mad yes you know ? The ones you put to the bottom and don't want to iron well iironed them today 😀

Hoorah just hope they still fit . See that's another thing when you don't want to iron anything when you do they don't fit or you remembered you didn't like it on you and that's the reason it was on the bottom of the pile happy days .

I think the reason I don't like ironing is I get bored so was singing today no I can't sing I sang at my dads birthday party once (Nancy sanartras these boots are made for walking ) I even practiced so I got it right then went to pot sang it completely different and very load haha . So I am singing and starts to inspect the sewing like you do and noticed where some of the clothes had been sewn wrong interesting ! It's funny it's not something I had looked at before but because I sew my sock monkeys on the machine it made me look .Wasn't big obvious things not naming any make just thought mistakes can be made no matter how much you pay for something . 

Now I was spending to much time together me the iron and ironing board so thought I better take a brake to do more exciting stuff like clean the bathroom , do some washing , have lunch, oh yes get my Avon orders in . Been doing Avon for a while  they have a bit of a dead Line to get your orders in but I like to get mine in early then everything's in stock . Some lovely customers who are big fans of Avon and always order .Just resantly got an online store it now an extra thing for Avon reps to sell Avon it's like my own little web site so anyone can buy . I like to do my orders on my laptop so it's clearer for me to see all the numbers make sure I'm ordering the right things . My lap top is old it's on it's way out I tried downloading Windows 10 and it wiped it out had to go back to factory settings night mare . So I am very lucky it's working at all it keeps turning off so try not to use it to much now saving for something better .hopfully soon .
Everyday seems the same always something to do so I didn't get back to the ironing bored because I also had sewing to do and little Joe will be here on Friday so me and the ironing board will have to have another date still a pile of clothes 😐

So you see what I mean about not getting it done and hubbys pile is higher than mine . But that's another day . Thanks for reading my blog you all want to get your ironing done now don't you !

Hello Well I had a walk the other day ! I am only a small distance away from where I lived as a girl and my hubby lived just in the next street when we was courting but that’s another story. Our case went missing at the airport

 Yes our case went missing well my husbands case.  Just glad it wasn’t mine! We went to Tenerife for a 9 day holiday.  I am not good on flying get travel sick but I was fine.Then on the Monday I got a tummy bug so went off my food a bit still didn’t feel right on the Thursday when we was coming home.  I took some dolls with me took some fantastic pictures beautiful place. So you can see why I’m glad it wasnt my case. But no body wants to lose a case!  But the funny thing is The flight seemed long and the plain was packed, only one other guy got on the coach to the airport and mick noticed his case was very much like his. We was very releaved to touch down at Manchester.  This is where it went strange there was a very long que at passport control and took forever we had rushed to get there quick. A Bit Of DIY

  To Day  Yes I have been doing a spot of DIY. My small projects become big ones as in my head they don't seem that difficult to do. I had a new boiler fitted before Christmas but unfortunately it left a very unsightly hole in the ceiling and ugerly pipes showing I thought I can do that easy mmmm . Now your all thinking get hubby to do it !! You see I have always done all the DIY as my dad was a decorator by trade I would watch him and learned a lot, plus I'm the artistic one and like decorating and things not sure about the painting after today! So I did it he did make me a box type thing to block the pipes in ? That wasn't the end of it had to reline the walls ,paper the ceiling, forgot regrouting the tiles and fill in a gap where the timer had been and it goes on . Painting ,more holes you get the idea not easy when all you want to do is the nice bit .
