Hello Well I had a walk the other day ! I am only a small distance away from where I lived as a girl and my hubby lived just in the next street when we was courting but that’s another story. I had to go to the post office with a parcel bit of a walk not sure they like their jobs as they never look happy, I always thought you greeted customers with a smile well that’s how it was when I worked in a shop but that’s another story. Walking back my leg was aching but had to go to doctors not for my leg they said that it could be osteoporosis just gave me pain killers to go with the high blood presser not good but that’s another story. I decided to walk by where I lived as a girl I remember playing handstands on the wall the houses where quite new when we moved in, my friend Jackie broke her collar bone doing a handstand but that’s another story. Hello its me your probably wondering why I’m back on google blogger it’s a long story but here I am. Been over a year since I was last here and lots has changed even me. Monday’s Normally my busiest day much as I loved making sock monkeys it was getting harder for me and wanted to do something different so my new venture renovating dolls and teddy bears has started always had a passion for vintage. Also reselling on eBay vintage and new things and still an Avon rep so all going on. Still have lots of diy projects to do and let you know what I get up to and decorating my house. Yes a date with the ironing board 😩 My ironing seems to pile up and I tend to iron when needed . I am not a big fan of ironing and avoid doing it my hubby even irons his own work things lucky me !!  I am determined I'm going to get on top of it and have spent a good part of my day trying to catch up with my friend the ironing board . I don't know if you read my blog about me clearing out my wardrobe did quite a bit of ironing then but it's piled up again even though I got rid of a lot of clothes . I had all my summer things to sort out ! Can't really say we have had much of a summer so far nearly put the heating on a few times . You know when you tidy you find lots of things you forgot you had well iI have found lots of tops you know the ones that when you wash crease like mad yes you know ? The ones you put to the bottom and don't want to iron well iironed them today 😀 Hoorah just hope they still fit . See that's another thing when you don't want to iron ...

What a lovely day out and a great day for a monkey adventure . Me and my hubby are trying to keep as fit as we can ,We had a  lovely walk at Pennington flash in Leigh Lancashire not far from where We live . Gorgeous lake and woodland area you can go bird watching  and take lovely walks along the track . We took some sandwiches  to have a picnic  Little windy but the sun came out was lovely .  I took along my rainbow monkey just call him monkey .Hes been on a few adventures with us he's a monkey climbing trees and getting up to mischief well maybe with a little help from us !! He's quite cute hopefully be featuring in my new monkey Calenders for 2017 he's already a star  Still working on the photos for this but here's this years for the month of July  His rainbow sister. Love colour love drawing love a doodle  Yes you guessed it I love to draw  I take my hat off if you can draw and paint you are a talented person. I did do some painting my self  do have a love of flowers and so painted quite a few . Everyone has a style and so many brilliant artists I follow a few on Facebook Susie Lidstone her work is beautiful well worth a look   d https://www.facebook.com/Susie-Lidstone-158274010855854/   I made a  pendant for her with her gorgeous picture of sunflowers amazing .  When I was younger and lived at home I painted a mural on the wall crazy girl with lots of hair very bright talking 70s flower power that's me .I can remember wanting a Spirograph for Christmas loved it. I haven't done any painting in a while as I now make sock monkeys that was years ago ! My only claim to fame of being an artist was a picture I sold on my little stall at Botany Bay for £50 did sell others but that's the most I ever got for one ...

I can't say I have ever been organised never know what I'm doing  Sunnyteddysdesigns I'm a very creative person but it can't be organised something comes in my head and have to do it .Been known to get up in the middle of the night to check things and I won't settle till I get the project done !  Sewing . once I have made the body of my monkey is ready for sewing can't wait to finish ! The eyes take some tiny stitching to sew on and the mouth is something you have to concentrate on .But as the day goes on never seems time to finish so I'm in bed late night sewing to get the job done because that's what I do . When I first started  Way back when I first started making sock monkeys it was just for fun they became popular and although I was making Handmade bag charms they took over and I found I was making them in stead. My very first mnkey was made just out of curiosity just wanted to have a go at making one and here she is nothing like the ones I do now . I  am very good at hand sewing and at first all my monkeys where hand sewn But as you can imagine took for ever to make .I have developed the style and now part sew on machine but be leave it or not I can't wait to get that part of the sewing done I don't like the machine at all . Think I sew to fast ! My jarome sewing machine is very unpredictable comes unthreaded and also loops the cotton underneath but cross fingers most of the time it sews ok touch wood . I had to save to buy her and thought she was wonderful so much quicker than hand sewing . Socks are not the easiest of things to sew and can't always  find the right ones...
